Pressing Forward to Touch You - Mark 3:7-12 Post 2

Chalkboard: Mark 3:7-12 Post 2 Pressing In.
Because of the crowd, You have the disciples get a small boat ready  (Mark 3:7-12).   It doesn't say if You're going to sit in the boat and teach them, or if You're going to use the boat to escape, or maybe both.  Just that a boat would be ready so that the people wouldn't crowd You, because they were pressing forward to touch You.

So many people have been healed that there's no longer a question, "Can Jesus heal me?  Will Jesus heal me?"  At this point it's obvious You can heal, and You are willing to heal.

Who, then, in their right mind wouldn't be pressing in to touch You, if they had a disease or an infirmity of some sort?  Here, at last, is real hope, here at last, is someone who can DO something about their situation, and who WILL.

They knew it.  And they pressed in unrelentingly just to touch You.
Just to touch You.

I know I'm not whole.  I know my infirmity, my disease, too well.  I know You are the One who can do something for me. And I know that I have clear access to You.  I don't have to fight a crowd of people to get to You, the veil that once separated me from You is gone, there is no real obstacle between me and You.  I can be with You this very moment if I want...

Am I...?

Am I pressing through the crowd of things in my life that would keep me from You if I let them?  Am I fighting to see You, to touch You?
