Are You At Home With Me? - Mark 2:1-12 Post 1

Chalkboard: Mark 2:1-12 Post 1
Home.  "...the people heard that he had come home" (Mark 2:1).  I really like this phrase.  It's a little phrase - a little word, setting up the rest of the passage.  Not very significant, maybe, but...I can't stop thinking about it.

Not all versions translate it as home.  Some say "at the house" or "in the house".  But since Matt. 4:13

Lonely Places - Mark 1:40-45 Post 7

Chalkboard: Mark 1:40-45 Post 7
You stayed in lonely places.  Desolate places.  Desert places. (Mark 1:45).  Places, I guess, that weren't easy or convenient.

But people still went.  They wanted to be with You badly enough to go to You where You were, even if it meant being in a lonely place.  An uninhabited place.  A harder to reach place.  Maybe even a

Four Cities, Three Countries, Two Days

Hello Novosibirsk
Except for the fire alarm (which turned out to be a false alarm) our trip was uneventful.  That's how we like it, although it doesn't make a very dramatic story.

It took us several years to learn the hard way that I don't do well flying through two nights in a row with no sleep: I tend to get physically ill.  So we

Am I Willing THEN? - Mark 1:40-45 Post 4

Am I willing (Mark 1:41) to be part of what You are doing in someone's life?

Am I willing to be used by God on His terms for His purposes?

Am I?

I might have to "touch the leper" - the outcast, the
